Eridanos Tattoo in Cambridge, MA is absolutely killin' it. The artists they work with, the shows they put together, and the work coming out of the shop and gallery is always fantastic. I was happy to have been a part of the traveling exhibition, "The Devil's Reign", a few months ago, which was originally curated by Peter H. Gilmore, High Priest of the Church of Satan, and made possible by Howl Gallery and Tattoo in Fort Myers, FL. Staying in the vein of a theme near and dear to my dark heart comes "Black Mass", the third annual exhibition celebrating traditions in art and occultism. If you are in the Cambridge/Boston area this Saturday, October 29th, you don't want to miss this show.
The impressive lineup includes:
Adam Burke, Ben Reigle, Brian Ewing, Britt Whitman, Defame, Dylan Garrett Smith (oh, hello there), Eva Huber, Jed Leiknes, Jef Whitehead, Jesse Levitt, Jess Brown, Kelly Doty, Human Furnace, Laney Oleniczak, Logan Aguilar, Lucas Ruggieri, Maegan LeMay, Pedro Felipe, Matt Buck, Mark Richards, Max Egy, Mike Moses, Necromogarip, SAWBLADE, Stefano Alcantara, Stevie Floyd, Tas Danazoglou, Tim Boor, Timothy Grieco, Ulysses Blair, Vincent Castiglia, Welt Yama, and Wes Benscoter
For more information about "Black Mass" and the ideas behind it, check out this interview with Mark Blanchard on CvltNation here.
My original drawing, "Summoning the Ancient Gods", will be available, as well as screenprints that were printed with the ashes of a burnt church mixed into the ink. For more information, contact Eridanos Tattoo via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (617) 945-9656.
